I enjoy this website far more than I should. You know when you find something you really like something. Like, a band. And you listen to them every day, over and over again, until you are word perfect on every lyric. And when you bring them up in conversation everyone looks at you like you’re a retard and don’t know who the hell you are talking about. And you’ll rant and rave about how amazing they are and how they should listen to them..but secretly be overjoyed that there is one tiny part of yourself, that is completely individual. YOU like this band. This band that no one else likes, no one else has heard of. It is yours. And then MTV comes along and rapes them. And the whole world is singing their music. And no one hears you calling from your little part of the universe. That little part of you that you thought no one else could touch, is now exposed. And no one will remember when you tell them “I knew them before they got famous.” That is how I feel about asofterworld.
